Is Chess Club free?
Yes. Chess Club is free to use. You can play with the coach, review games, practice mistakes, solve puzzles, study openings, and drill patterns at no cost. A Pro tier with expanded features is in early access and currently handled manually.
What is Pro?
Pro is an early-access paid tier that unlocks expanded storage, priority features, and access to capabilities being rolled out gradually. Pro is currently activated manually after confirming a bank transfer — there is no automatic card billing.
How do manual bank transfer payments work?
After joining the Pro waitlist and being contacted, you will receive bank transfer details privately. Once you send the transfer and share the reference, we confirm it manually and activate Pro access. There is no instant activation — it is confirmed by a person. Bank account details are not shown publicly.
Can I analyze my games?
Yes. Go to Game Review, paste your PGN, and Chess Club will highlight mistakes, blunders, and missed tactics. You can save the review and practice the positions you got wrong.
Can I practice my mistakes?
Yes. After saving a game review, you can open it in Practice mode. Chess Club will step you through the positions where you went wrong and let you try again — the same way a coach would drill a student on their errors.
Is Chess Club the same as Chess.com or Lichess?
No. Chess Club is a separate, independent training platform. It is not affiliated with Chess.com, Lichess, FIDE, or any other chess organisation. You play against a training coach bot, not other real players. The focus is on structured improvement rather than rated matchmaking.
Do you store my PGN?
When you save a game review, the PGN and analysis are stored in your account so you can come back to it. Unsaved reviews are not retained. You can delete saved reviews from your account at any time.
Can I delete saved reviews?
Yes. Saved reviews can be deleted from the reviews section of your account. For full account deletion or data removal, contact us directly.
